She began to build her career as an author at the age of seven. Louise May became famous for her children's book "Little Women"

The novel "Little Women" is dedicated to the Alcott family. It describes the lives of four sisters Meg, Jo, Amy and Beth, who live in New England during the Civil War. The novel describes the relationship between sisters and mother.

The novel has been translated into many languages, including Russian. Also in 2019, a film based on the novel by Louise May Alcott was released.
